Feedmaster has committed N$125 000 to the NAU’s Dare to Care Disaster Fund in support of relief efforts to the severe drought impacting Namibia.

“Our Namibian family of customers and associates are experiencing devastating impact from the drought”, said Jaco Labuschagne, GM of Feedmaster Namibia. “We are on the ground to help our farmers and agricultural stakeholders in Namibia, and we will continue in the months ahead.” To help those in need, Feedmaster will furthermore supply subsidised animal feed, for specific products as agreed upon by the Dare to Care committee, for the period 8 April 2019 to 30 June 2019 to all participating animal feed retailers. Producers were informed countrywide which specific animal feed products qualify.

Feedmaster has a long history of providing aid in times of drought. Helping farmers prepare and recover by donating feed, offering free technical advice, driving initiatives to increase profitability and sustainability and being involved in organised agricultural activities in Namibia. Feedmaster provides farmers with a variety of products for cattle, sheep, goats, horses, poultry and even pet foods. Products are available countrywide making Feedmaster a truly proud Namibian enterprise.
